Sometimes a sustainable approach is about improving on what you have rather than starting from scratch

The clients of #sofiarosehouse wanted to keep the character of their existing house but improve the comfort level and reduce energy costs. So, we made sure we:

  • Kept mostly within the existing footprint
  • Invested in tinted double glazing
  • Installed solar panels
  • Increased insulation in the walls, floor, and roof
  • Worked out the best angle of patio awning
  • Improved light and ventilation

The result? A comfortable home all year round.
