here comes the void…

The early part of the year saw the concrete slab polished, this enabled the brick piers to be built on top leaving a clean polished edge right up to the piers.



The roof is now on and both carport and kitchen awning green roofs are in place ready for water proofing. Windows are now in place along with the brick piers.


Once all windows were in place, including the upper void window panel, the temporary floor across the void was removed.

This north facing void is integral to passive solar design and to the natural light it brings into the centre of this semi.
